Golden Leaf Chinese Restaurant’s Grand Transformation

The Golden Leaf Chinese Restaurant project was a complete renovation from the ground up. It involved reimagining a space that had previously served as a takeaway into a full-fledged dining destination, all while ensuring that the essentials – including electrics, ventilation, water services, electronics, and flooring – were modern and functional.

The space presented a unique challenge with its long, rectangular layout. Our task was to create seating arrangements for 25 people that maximized space efficiency without compromising comfort and aesthetics. The electrics and ventilation systems had not been updated in years. Modernizing these critical services was essential to ensure a safe and comfortable dining environment.

To overcome the problem of a very rectangular space our design solution was to create a bar seating area that combined stylish aesthetics with functionality.

The bar area features comfortable booths with overhanging lights that create an intimate dining experience. The unique bar setup serves as a focal point, allowing guests to enjoy their meals while engaging with the culinary artists at work.We took the extra step to ensure the comfort and uniqueness of the seating. All the seating in the restaurant, including the booths, was custom designed and upholstered to reflect the restaurant’s modern Chinese theme. The upholstery not only adds to the aesthetics but also enhances the overall dining experience.

To further enhance the guest experience, we designed a stylish reception area. This space is more than just an entrance; it’s a place where guests can comfortably wait before being seated, creating a welcoming and organized dining experience.
